Adam Hills

Adam Hills is one of Australia’s best known comedians, mainly as the four time Gold Logie nominated host of his two hit ABC TV series – the music quiz show Spicks and Specks and his unique take on the late night talk show, Adam Hills In Gordon Street Tonight.

Spicks and Specks was ABC TVs highest rating program for seven years and was the anchor for its highly successful Wednesday night comedy line up. Adam Hills In Gordon Street Tonight premiered in 2011. Filmed at the iconic Gordon Street studios in Melbourne the show mixed celebrity guests including Whoopi Goldberg and KD Lang with audience engagement, elevating everyday people to celebrity status. Gordon Street returns in 2012 with its second season.

Having been nominated for its top gong three times, Adam is a favourite at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the biggest comedy festival in the world, often topping sales and always bagging rave reviews. Generally based in London for the second half of the year Adam tours the UK, Ireland and Europe as well as taking out time to perform at the world class Montreal Just For Laughs comedy festival where he has performed more times than any other.
