Artist biography
Paul Foot studied mathematics at Merton College, Oxford, with the intention of becoming an accountant. Since leaving university he has pursued a career as a stand-up comedian, with numerous television and radio appearances and several awards to his credit.
Following the success of “Ash In The Attic” directed by Noel Fielding (Mighty Boosh), Paul’s 2011 show “Still Life” was a sell-out at the Edinburgh Fringe, its subsequent UK Tour and won him a second successive Barry nomination at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. His new show, “Kenny Larch Is Dead” premieres at the Edinburgh Fringe 2012 before an extensive UK Tour in the Autumn. Prior to this, he will make his second appearance at The Montreal Comedy Festival.
Paul’s rapidly growing following of those who have taken to his unique style of performance who gather in a fan club-esque secret society he calls The Guild Of Paul Foot Connoisseurs.
